Alvin Risk never disappoints. And his versatility is undeniable, having played all up and down the bass music spectrum from dubstep, to moombahton, to heavy moombahcore, some electro house and pretty much anything else you can name in the range. Of course, I’m most partial to his dubstep stuff, which is why this new track, “Skyclad” is an absolute delight. Anything OWSLA Records serves up seems to have a really dark and evil feel to it, something Alvin carries through on his tracks really well. It’s definitely seen on his face-melting remix of “Eyes”, but this track has that same dark sinister stomach-twisting feel before it launches a wall of gut-wrenching bass turbulence at you.
