Rekoil has to be one of my favorite young producers at this point in the game. He never has anything negative to say, a like a lot of the Firepower Recordscrew, remains pretty reserved. But when it comes to producing, he sure knows how to shatter some bass. This is his remix of “Fully Blown”, originally by Firepower head Datsik. Some of you may have already heard this track, but this is a fresh mix down from Rekoil with some better sound quality and a few adjustments. Plus it comes with a FREE download. Enjoy!
Two huge Firepower Recordshere have collaborated on this brand new extremely filthy- and yes, extremely funny- track. It’s the homies Getter and MUST DIE!, both of which it’s no secret that we’re big fans of here at Funkadelphia. Finally Philadelphia will have the pleasure of hosting the great Getter at SoundGarden Hall on Thursday, June 7th, and oh man am I excited for the filth fest he’s going to deliver. Don’t expect the most quality tune here, but definitely still expect some good laughs and some good whomps, and a good ol’ FREE download!!
It’s been a while since we’ve had something new to share with you guys from Northeast producer Drop Goblin, but this new release is sure to satisfy your bass craving. Drop Goblin has been our radar for quite some time now and it’s great to see him starting to get some serious recognition. The Gate EP was released through Ultragore Records, who have housed plenty of releases from many of our favorite filthy artists, including J.Rabbit, Mantisand plenty more. The album’ demonstrates strong influences from dubstep, moombahcore, and yes, metal. Enough’s been said; get those speakers turned up and the music blastin’!
You like it filthy huh? Well you’ve come to the right place, because here at Funkadelphia we’re always serving up a hot new daily dose of bass. We’ve got a whole slew of new tunes for you guys here today in the form of the new Shellshock Vol. 1 compilation album from the new and mighty Firepower Records. The label is headed by OG bass head Datsikand features many of your favorite dirty bass artists including Terravita, Rekoil, Getter, Antiserum & Mayhem, AFK, Protohypeand plenty, PLENTY, more. If you’re a show-goer, you’ve probably heard a few of these tracks dropped recently, but finally we have them available to us and we couldn’t be happier. So turn those speakers up and let the bass cascade over you!
The bass music world has truly exploded over the passed few years, resulting in a wide spread of different approaches to different genres, and generally different sounds. But a few talented producers shown through the crowds of self-proclaimed “DJs” even early on, and still to this day deliver heavy doses of relentless filth. Eptic is undeniable one of these producers. The Belgian producer and Never Say Die Recordsartist’s newest release has finally officially hit the shelves. The Mastermind EP presents three heavy new tracks ranging from the dubstep to drumstep ranges, and of course a fourth obligatory trap song. This EP doesn’t come a moment too soon though, with Moonrise Festivaljust a month away, and Eptic now officially added to the lineup!!
Alright, so we all know this track has been done up a million different times and a million different ways. But upcoming Baltimore producer Rekoil offers a really fresh- and, of course, filthy- spin on the already bassed out track. He comes from the world of Firepower Records, so you know you can expect it to be heavy. And if you’re digging it, which I know you will, you can grab it up completely FREE! Enjoy!
Bass heads unite!! This one has been in the works for quite some time now and I’m sure you are all just as excited as we are. Dirtyphonics has finally released their newest album Irreverence and the result is face-smashing. This UK production duo really knows how to bring the heat, and in a lot of different ways. They incorporate plenty of live instrumentation, whether it be piano, bass, or guitar. But what really shows through on this album is their versatility. After a grimey tear through the heavy bass scene, Dirtyphonics puts this album out to show their abilities in not only the dubstep region, but also electro house, drum & bass, and just about any other bass heavy genre in between. The two-piece production team certainly has plenty of incredible talent to show off on their new record as well, including appearances Foreign Beggarsand Modestep. This is one massive bass album here!!
Alright we got another nice trap tune for you guys here. It’s nice to see some really creative producers trying out this genre, because I think the results we’ve been seeing lately have, overall, been a lot more impressive. This is sort of a funky bass one from California group Bass Science. They’re part of 1320 Records, probably one of the most reputable artist collectives when it comes to progressive electronic movements, and we’ve been digging their sound for quite a while (we even shared their last album). This track definitely takes a turn from their other recent work, but for any true fans, I wouldn’t worry too much; I’m sure there’s full intentions to return to their ever classic “dub-hop” sound. FREE as always; enjoy!
These guys have been on an absolute rampage lately. With the release of their Audible Space EPnot too far in the past, Blunt Instrument clearly saw this as no reason to slow down on the production side of their game. Now the Australian duo is back with a hot, brand new, funky track for the masses. What’s not to love about a glitch-hop duo that uses live instrument samples, such as the beautiful trumpet in this track, to give it that real clean funky element. If you like the bass, this is for you. If you like the funk, this is for you. And if you’re not sure if this is for you, then give it a listen anyway, because it almost definitely is. Available for FREE download too! Enjoy!
Alrighty, I’ve got something really special for you guys right hur! Infected Mushroom is definitely a dominant name in the electronic music world, with a psy-trance that’s sure to leave your brain scrambled and visual production that’ll straight melt your eyes. Now the California duo have released their newest track, “Never Mind” along with two huge remixes from some nasty names in the bass game: Liquid Strangerand Nostalgia. So no matter where your heads at, we’ve got something for you here in this post. I have to say I think Liquid Stranger’s mix takes the cake, but hey, why not tell us your opinion!?
