Oh my… this is merciless. I mean, absolutely, totally freaking merciless. Someone get this man to Philadelphia pleeeeeease. Getter has been absolutely annihilating the heavy bass scene for some time now, having put out music with both Rottun Records and Firepower Records. He hails from California which probably explains his lack of representation in the Northeast. But honestly, I believe this man belongs at the very top of the charts. Absolutely flawless production, and absolutely flawless filth. This track couldn’t be better.

Document One is probably most well know for their work with Buygore Records, but however you may know them, you know these guys are relentless. And Virus Syndicate has been leaving a total path of destruction on their climb to the top. Together, it results in an insanely massive new track from these two groups. A lot of people know ETC!ETC! from his trap and moombah work, but here he is clearing demonstrating he’s got a firm grasp on the methods for delivering some serious filth. And of course Texas producer Must Die’s influence is clear on the track; this is some seriously heavy sh*t. And just in the passed 24 hours it’s been dominating the Beatport charts, so keep it climbing!

Zomboy‘s always crushing it, whether its behind the turntables or behind the production software. His last release was The Dead Symphonic EP before he came rampaging through SoundGarden Hall to bring in one epic Halloween for Philly. Now the UK producer and Never Say Die Records artist is back with a new single, featuring the vocals of Lady Chann, titled “Here to Stay”. It’s an upbeat, heavy-hitting moombahcore track, chocked full of that grimey Zomboy bass we all know and love. Enjoy!

It seems Figure is getting back to his hip-hop love a lot lately; with a remix of a Deltron 3030 track, followed by several collaborations with Del himself, and now this brand spankin’ new remix of an Aesop Rock track. This one comes on smooth, with an easy kicking beat and Aesop’s rhymes flowing effortlessly on top. But of course it’s still a Figure track, so be sure to count on one hard-hitting wall of bass, some epic beat adjustment, and one overall hell of a track. FREE as always from Figure. Enjoy!

Alright this one is definitely a bit late admittedly, but I still can’t deny it from seeing the light of day here on Funkadelphia because it’s simply too freaking amazing. Run DMT has been on the forefront of the bass music scene for quite sometime now; he’s a clear veteran. And he’s torn up Philadelphia at least twice now, both this year at The Blockley and SoundGarden Hall. Over the passed month or so, the Texas producer has been releasing the tracks to his new Union of Opposites album (which you can scoop TOTALLY FREE!!) one by one through his soundcloud. And dead seriously, everytime he released a new track, it left my jaw a bit closer to the floor at the drop. This album is ABSOLUTELY KILLER!! Get at it!!

Heli Showdown - OTSOG Remixed

Back in the beginning of December, Helicopter Showdown released their monstrous 3-track On the Shoulders of Giants EP through Beatport. Now, a little over a month later, I’m happy to be bringing you the official remixes of the tracks from the EP. The Remix album features appearances from 5 amazing bass producers, including J. Rabbit, Dirt Monkey, Protohype, Antiserum and Diamond Pistols.
