Rekoil has to be one of my favorite young producers at this point in the game. He never has anything negative to say, a like a lot of the Firepower Records crew, remains pretty reserved. But when it comes to producing, he sure knows how to shatter some bass. This is his remix of “Fully Blown”, originally by Firepower head Datsik. Some of you may have already heard this track, but this is a fresh mix down from Rekoil with some better sound quality and a few adjustments. Plus it comes with a FREE download. Enjoy!

Now we can’t go spreading the love to all our Philadelphia fans without sharing some good old fashioned local Philadelphia music. So allow us to take over your ear drums for the next 17 minutes with this insane mix from local DJ and producer DigitalNature. Still very new to the scene, DigitialNature is showing he means nothing but business. With a slew of impressive original production tracks up on his Soundcloud, he certainly demonstrates his knowledge in the production booth. But this mix also shows off an incredible ability to throw together gnarly track after gnarly track, into a bass-ridden mix that’ll leave you begging for more. This right here, is far from your typical daily dose of bass. It’s more like a daily overdose. Now, let me say: where my metal heads at? Zardonic is an intense bass producer very realistically probably blows out a few windows in his house/apartment every time he’s working on a new track. “Intense” does not even begin to describe this track, but hey, if you like it really filthy, then you probably couldn’t be happier with this one. In announcing his new upcoming remix album, Far Beyond Bass – The Vulgar Remixes, Zardonic decided to drop a FREE new track on us to get us hyped. Well it worked.

The bass music world has truly exploded over the passed few years, resulting in a wide spread of different approaches to different genres, and generally different sounds. But a few talented producers shown through the crowds of self-proclaimed “DJs” even early on, and still to this day deliver heavy doses of relentless filth. Eptic is undeniable one of these producers. The Belgian producer and Never Say Die Records artist’s newest release has finally officially hit the shelves. The Mastermind EP presents three heavy new tracks ranging from the dubstep to drumstep ranges, and of course a fourth obligatory trap song. This EP doesn’t come a moment too soon though, with Moonrise Festival just a month away, and Eptic now officially added to the lineup!!

Bass heads unite!! This one has been in the works for quite some time now and I’m sure you are all just as excited as we are. Dirtyphonics has finally released their newest album Irreverence and the result is face-smashing. This UK production duo  really knows how to bring the heat, and in a lot of different ways. They incorporate plenty of live instrumentation, whether it be piano, bass, or guitar. But what really shows through on this album is their versatility. After a grimey tear through the heavy bass scene, Dirtyphonics puts this album out to show their abilities in not only the dubstep region, but also electro house, drum & bass, and just about any other bass heavy genre in between. The two-piece production team certainly has plenty of incredible talent to show off on their new record as well, including appearances Foreign  Beggars and Modestep. This is one massive bass album here!!

Oh Philly love, Philly love, what do we have for you today? None other than the great MitiS with a fresh new release for the world. The Philadelphia producer and DJ has been hard at work on his Born EP the passed few months. The first glimpse we had into the project was his track “Endeavors”, which left our jaws on the floor and our mouths watering. This EP definitely lives up to the MitiS standard, with that wistful bass sound that just makes you think everything’s going to awesome and happy. It’s bass that takes you to a better place. With the release of his brand new full-length, the Disillusion LP, just a few months out now, Jack Deezl has really been turning up the heat lately. Today we see the release of his latest single from the upcoming album, titled “Harbinger” and featuring a B-side from Glitch Squad artist and contributor, Tilsonic. Both these guys are Philadelphia producers, on a Philadelphia founded and based label, so let’s show these guys some serious love. The original track has a much deeper, more creeping feel, with deep bass that almost feels like it’s swallowing you whole. Meanwhile, Tilsonic decided to really turn up the tempo on us, giving the track a drum & bass like rhythm, with an almost glitch-hop style beat on top. Glitch Squad keeping it real and unique as always.

I really feel as though Figure‘s been cranking ‘em out lately, but the man is absolutely relentless. It’s more a question of whether his work ethic or just the straight evilness of his music is more relentless. For this new remix, the drumstep king teamed up with OWSLA Records to bring you the release. It might seem like an odd combination at first- it certainly made us cock our heads for a second- but when it comes to evil, EVIL music, OWSLA certainly turns up the heat too. Not to mention, Blood Diamonds is one of the latest editions to the label — this track is actually taken off his new Barcode EP. Drumstep at it’s finest.
