This is one darn impressive track. With a name like Drop Goblin, you expect this guy to bring the heat, and he sure as hell does. I’ve heard several of his tracks and haven’t been disappointed once yet. One thing that’s really awesome about his production is his use of classic samples, one of which you’ll definitely recognize in this new song “Shake Yer Body”. Really, I just want to be done talking so you can start listening. Go at it!
Awwwwww yeah, new Terravita. This Boston based trio has been putting out the heavy-hitters at quite the pace. In celebration of 23,000 likes on Facebook, they’ve decided to give us this new track “Faceless Butcher” for free. I’ll tell you right now, this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s a real nice, speedy drum & bass track that really makes you want to get up and groovin’. I thoroughly hope to be able to catch these guys live in the future. Enjoy!
Teen Daze is a small indie producer out of Canada. His tracks have a really atmospheric feel to them and for the most part are extremely relaxing. About to embark on a UK Tour, Teen Daze decided to release this new track “Fantasy”. In addition, he has announced that before the tour, he will be releasing a three-track EP featuring this new song “Fantasy”. So this is just the right thing to get you excited for those next two tracks; I know we’ll be looking forward to them.
Cry Wolf is a group I’ve wanted to post some music from for a while now. Just last night they were feeling so grateful to their fans that they decided to give us their new original mix, “No Deezies”. So, this seems like a pretty opportune time to talk about them. Hailing from North Carolina, Cry Wolf has been putting out some really sick electronic tracks the past few months. Their style combines elements of minimal, dubstep, electro and even reggaeton at times. I want to also call special attention to their track “Ephermal”, which is one of my personal favorites. These guys are definitely someone to keep your eyes on in 2012. Enjoy!
We’ve posted some At Dawn We Rage before, and with good reason; he’s an extremely talented produce. Well, this new one blows all else out of the water. Although this remix isn’t available for download until April 5th, you can still stream it on his Soundcloud and enjoy the hell out of it until that momentous day.
Jack Deezl is just churning ‘em out, quality tune after quality tune. This track starts out nice and mellow and keeps that pace for a good amount of time. But come 3:45, this song just drops a wall of whomps on you. Back with the vocals of Brick + Mortar, this new song is really sick. Be sure to keep an eye out for his debut EP, to be released in April. Enjoy!
EVE 6 is someone I actually didn’t think we’d ever hear new material from. The band went on hiatus after the release of their third record back in 2003. Now, a full 9 years later, the band has reunited and is getting ready to put out their new record, titled Speak in Code. Just yesterday, the band released the third single from the upcoming album “Curtain” (follow-up to “Victoria” & “Lost & Found”). This is probably going to be a bit of a hit or miss for some of you, but the nostalgia of this song is what I think really gives it it’s effectiveness. It sounds just like EVE 6; they didn’t try to do some kind of crazy re-invention of their sound, they just stuck to what they new. If you aren’t familiar with the band, be sure to check out some of their older songs; I recommend “Here’s to the Night”, “Jet Pack”, “Think Twice”, and “Arch Drive Goodbye”. I’ve also included my personal favorite of their songs, “Promise”. So, without further ado, please enjoy new EVE 6 after such a long period
Drift Static is a name you most likely haven’t heard, and that’s probably because it’s a name that has only existed for about a week now. Drift Static is a German producer who previously did his work under the name White Noise, a name you might recognize because of his remix of “Sail” by AWOLNATION. Well the artist is turning over a new leaf, and beginning his career under the Drift Static moniker. This is his first official release under the name, so check it out!
Bassnectar’s new album Vava Voom is due to be released on April 10th, just 10 days before his Bass Center V show here in Philadelphia on the big 4/20. Lorin Ashton (aka Bassnectar) released the song, and first single from the album, “Ugly” not too long ago. Now he’s giving us another track to preview, the album titled track “Vava Voom” featuring rapper Lupe Fiasco. This is another bass-filled track from this dubstep genius. Bassnectar has been around since the roots of the genre were just being planted, and he’s certainly showing he can keep up with the crazy wobbles too. Enjoy!
